so, work has been good lately. I've been enjoying it more because I know what I've been doing and I know what to do to get most of my things done. It's been nice. I enjoy my coworkers. Ajit is a lot of fun to be with. I really like being with Chris as well. He's my mentor. I enjoy working on the projects I've been working on too kind of. It's kind of boring, but it's alright. They have me working a lot on a bunch of different sprint tasks (small tasks that are assigned to teh team to complete).

i met a girl named jackie last week. I met her at institute. she was a lot of fun to be with. I met her because I had to get there early to get scott to an interview with the bishop. she was sitting out in the foyer talking wtih mike holm. so, we started talking and immediately became pretty good friends. we went down to the isaiah class lesson. she was a lot of fun to be with. during the lesson, I sent her a note asking if she wanted to go floating down a river the upcoming weekend. she said she would. so, we all went floating.

floating was so much fun. vaibhav decided to come that morning. the water was so cold. vaibhav and i took an air mattress that i bought at good will down the river. jackie decided to take a little intertube that she had. it was a lot of fun to do the rapids though. :) soooo much fun. jackie was such a good sport about it too.

afterwards, we all went to chipotle and went to get some ice cream. it was a lot of fun that day.

after chipotle and ice cream, we took jackie back to her house. her mom then invited us to watch wall-e with them. i had already committed myself to going over to katie cooper's house that night and watching a movie with them at 9:00. So, I called Katie and asked if it was alright if I got there a bit late. she said ok. so, i went to see wall-e with jackie and her family. the occasion to see wall-e was it was jackie's brother david's birthday. so, i bought david some popcorn (truthfully, a lot of that decision came from wanting to impress jackie and maybe her mom too). wall-e was alright, but i didn't think it was as good as what a lot of people make it out to be.

that night, we went to catie cooper's house to watch the movie. i kind of felt like she made it to be a real big deal for her because she had reserved someone else's house that had a projector and bought a new movie so that we could watch somethign together. peter was there too, and so was amie, her sister. amie kidn of got close to me and seemed like she kind of wanted to cuddle. i thought it was just kind of awkward.

today, at institute, i saw jackie again. i invited jackie on a date this thursday. she readily agreed, but i didn't have any ideas of what to do in belleview. i told her she had to help me out with that. so, i'm going to call her tomorrow and figure out what were' going to do. i'm excited to see her again on thursday though. :)

i'm going to go read artemis fowl now.
